We offer a unique opportunity for children to develop their visual art skills through our monthly art and design sessions. Our sessions for 3-6 year olds will help your child enter his or her school days with confidence in the visual arts while developing emotional and social skills. Our sessions for K-5th graders help push that creativity to new levels. And for our middle schoolers – our Asheville Community Design Lab – we focus in on specific mediums – integrating art and design together in creative ways. All monthly sessions are once a week for four weeks. We strive to keep a low teacher-to-student ratio; the maximum class size is 10 children.

We have a variety of teaching artists providing a diverse range of art mediums, and could work with your child individually or create a group to help your child develop his or her creative skills..
