Hosting a visitor that wants a unique Asheville experience? Or, have you and your friends and family ever wanted to work one-on-one in a River Arts District studio with a professional visual artist? Here’s your chance.
Roots + Wings School of Art hosts studio sessions with our roster of visual artists in our River Arts District studio at 342 Depot Street. Unlike group art classes, with Custom Art Studio Sessions, participants work collaboratively with one of our visual artists exploring tools and techniques, making color and material choices, and sharing in the process of art-making together.
Custom art studio sessions are open to any age. Our Artists have experience with young children, middle and high school students, and adults of all ages. These sessions are a great way for middle and high school students to continue to develop their artistic skills outside of school. Families working through transitions or friends and families looking for a shared experience in the arts have also chosen to book sessions. Choose between a number of options:
Individual Session = $250
Up to 4 hours in sessions scheduled however desired (within limits). Some materials, studio space and visual artist collaborator provided. Session accommodates one person.
Friend Session = $350
Up to 4 hours in sessions scheduled however desired (within limits). Some materials, studio space and visual artist collaborator provided. Session accommodates up to three people.
Family Session = $600
Up to 6 hours in sessions scheduled however desired (within limits). Some materials, studio space and visual artist collaborator provided. Session accommodates up to 5 people.
Hourly Rate and/or Additional Hours (3 hours or less) = $50
